New IZMAG Electromagnetic Flowmeter With Bluetooth Capability
IZMAG new flow meter for when accuracy matters in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and biotech industries
IZMAG is a new generation of stainless steel electromagnetic flow meters from GEA Diessel specially designed to meet the needs of the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and biotech industries. They offer the unrivalled accuracy and reliability expected from GEA Diessel plus a host of new features including a visual display, 360° positioning, and Bluetooth compatibility for simple data gathering.
In common with all electromagnetic flow meters the IZMAG has no moving parts, offers bi-directional metering for all conductive liquids and is suitable for use at high temperatures or under vacuum conditions. However the IZMAG also provides benefits that are unique or rarely found on competitive equipment: ? Bluetooth compatibility: allows operators to download data easily even if the flow meter has necessarily been located in an inaccessible position; ? 360° positioning: allows the display unit to be rotated for all-round visibility in confined areas; ? Flexible design: enables the customisation of the flow meter to provide additional functionality such as: filling control, flow control, data capture or printing of on-the-spot reports; ? Visual display: for easy commissioning and instant status checking; ? Automatic calibration: the electronic version of the IZMAG™ calibrates itself automatically during operation to ensure optimum accuracy at all times; ? Auto alarm: a visual alarm on screen and back at the central station to alert operators to out-of-parameter process conditions; ? Suitable for aseptic processing: no snags or corners in which bacteria can grow. Can be cleaned and steamed in place (CIP/SIP). IZMAG is compatible as an option with Profibus and HART protocols, complies with all EU regulations and certified to OILM R117-1.
GEA Diessel is a technology leader in flow metering and control. In addition to the new IZMAG™ flow meter, the company also excels in engineering to help customers meet modern production requirements especially those involving carbonated liquids or other products that can be difficult to meter accurately.Further editorial information from:
