New Director Of Analytical Business Development / Knick Product Specialist
The Van London-pHoenix Company is pleased to announce their hiring of Tim Schilz as Director of Analytical Business Development / Knick Product Specialist.
Van London-pHoenix is a global manufacturer of high quality electrochemical analytical sensors specializing in pH, ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential), Conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen and Ion Selective Electrodes (ISEs) designed for a broad spectrum of both industrial and municipal, chemical process, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food & beverage, laboratory and water quality applications.
Earlier in 2011, Van London-pHoenix and Knick (Berlin, Germany) entered into an exclusive strategic distribution agreement for Knick Analytical products in the US. Knick is a global market leader in the manufacture of online pH/ORP, DO and Conductivity analyzers and transmitters, along with portable meters, in-line retractable hardware and fittings, the digital MemoSens electrode and a fully automated clean and calibrate in place UniCal system - greatly complementing the VL-PC sensor offering.
Schilz comes to the company from Thermo Scientific where he was Global Product Manager for Process Instruments. His prior experience was with the Rosemount Analytical - Liquid Division of Emerson Process Management where he was Global OEM and Key Accounts Manager, and was also a Marketing and Sales Manager for GLI International.
Schilz is active in a number of national trade organizations and current member of the Editorial Advisory Committee for Industrial WaterWorld. He has over 20 years of experience in both industrial and municipal liquid analytical measurement applications. Schilz said he's excited about the opportunity to grow the Van London-pHoenix analytical measurement business and promote the Knick product line to a variety of US process markets.
