Service Facility Specializes in USP/NF/FCC-Grade Chemicals

Spectrum China LTD announced that its Analytical Laboratory, located in Shanghai Zhang Jiang Hi-Tech Science Park, has received full accreditation by China National Accreditation Services for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), a government agency. The laboratory is designed and equipped to test chemicals and ingredients to USP, NF, BP, JP, European Pharmacopeia, and Food Chemicals Codex requirements. Spectrum started the unit to meet the need of companies sourcing and purchasing pharmaceutical, food and beverage, biotech, and nutraceutical ingredients from China. The laboratory was ISO 17025 certified in 2007.

Spectrum China LTD also offers site audits of Chinese manufacturing facilities to verify compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Certifying to identity, purity, strength, and cGMP status of ingredients is now more important than ever. The technical staff of the laboratory holds qualifications to the Ph.D. and MD level and includes export logistics experts and compliance specialists who maintain working relationships with Chinese producers and regulatory agencies.
