Inspection And Documentation Of Fabricated Products

All fabrications are thoroughly inspected at all stages of production and again prior to leaving our facility. Weld quality and surface finishes are inspected throughout the production process.

The internal quality of all welds is thoroughly inspected with an Olympus borescope which is complete with video capabilities to generate a video tape of the inspection, if required.

Surface finish requirements are checked with a profilometer for conformity to the required specification. Extra care is taken in packaging by capping and bagging the components to maintain the high purity standard required.

All fabrications requiring ASME section IX documentation are shipped with a validation package including:

• Welding Procedure Specification for all welding performed
• Supporting Procedure Qualification Records
• Copy of welder tests
• Material inspection logs
• Coupon logs
• Daily welder logs
• Inspection logs
• Mill test reports of product contact material
• Certification for argon gas used
• Video cassette of bore scope inspection (if required)
