New Rocklid-CL For Induction Sealing

dfd

Rockwell Solutions has launched the Rocklid Induction Sealing Conductive Liner to seal to any substrate to achieve a peel or a weld seal. The benefits of the solution include consistent hermetic sealing for greater protection and no leaks; peelable seals at 0.1 seconds; a clean, smooth peel, with no film tear; and no 'stringing' or residue. It also offers good product preservation thanks to its high moisture and gas barrier, a high degree of tamper evidence and prevention of tainting, while delivering cost savings compared to alternative laminates.

Induction Sealing is a non-contact process for sealing Conductive Liners (CL) on top of bottles and containers. This process provides a convenient, fast and cost-effective method for hermetically sealing containers made from almost any material. As induction sealing is a 'nocontact process' it is ideal for numerous applications including pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food, beverages and, in fact, any product that requires an impermeable seal. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regard induction sealing as highly tamper evident packaging.

Rocklid-CL liners can be removed cleanly and easily in one piece and are available with or without residue once removed from the container. Rockwell also supply 100% compostable and biodegradable liners with our proprietary Biopeel coating on PLA film.
