SheetLabels.com Is The Official Label Provider Of The Adirondack Craft Beverage Initiative

SheetLabels.com has partnered with The Adirondack Craft Beverage Initiative as the official label provider for the regional craft beverage companies involved in the Adirondack Craft Beverage Trail.

Glens Falls, NY (PRWEB) - The Adirondack Craft Beverage Initiative is a brand new program that was created to promote tourism throughout the Upstate NY region. The program is focused on businesses that are part of the NY Craft Beverage Industry that stretches throughout multiple Upstate NY Counties. SheetLabels.com is proud to be a part of the Adirondack Craft Beverage Initiative as the official label provider for the program. It is an honor to be a part of a local program such as this for SheetLabels.com, together the companies involved are confident that this will be a big boost for tourism in the Adirondack area.

The Adirondack Craft Beverage Trail runs through 4 different counties, which are Warren, Washington, Essex, and Saratoga. The Craft Beverage Initiative includes 23 craft beverage producers, which is up from just 6 a year ago. The program is a combined effort between The Empire State Development Group (ESD) and The Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce (ARCC).

The Empire State Development Group started a program called the “Craft Beverage Industry Tourism Promotion”, through this program they gave a grant of $168,300 to the Adirondack Regional Chamber that was meant to market the Adirondack Craft Beverage Trail so they could give a push to tourism in the area.

The ARCC has big plans with how they will use the funding, including creating 40 thousand copies of the Adirondack Craft Beverage Trail brochure, as well as designing a brand new website and mobile app for the trail.

The new website will include an interactive map of the breweries along the Craft Beverage Trail, and the new site is expected to go live around Memorial Day weekend of 2015. The app is also currently in development, and they are planning on making that live right around 4th of July weekend, also in 2015. The Adirondack Craft Beverage Initiative mobile app will have push notifications based on an interactive map, so whenever a user is in the vicinity of one of the participating breweries, they will get an instant notification on their smart device.

The breweries, wineries, and distilleries along the Adirondack Beverage Trail are already seeing an impact from the promotion that is already underway for much of this last year. The additional funding from the State of New York will help them make a much bigger impact and will reach many more people. The Adirondack Chamber President, Peter Aust, said that the local chamber is working with a few other regional chambers in the area so they can all work together to cross promote the beverage trail.

The Adirondack Mountain region has always been a popular vacation destination, but now it is becoming a busy destination for craft beer, distilled beverage, and wine enthusiasts. There are plenty of beautiful things to see in the area for tourists that are visiting for the Craft Beverage Trail. The maps that are given out to everyone that is touring the trail are interactive, and with the interactive map they can collect stamps from each brewery, winery, & distillery that they visit.

“The craft beverage industry is the next frontier for developing tourism in this region,” said Sam Filler, who is the director of development for the Empire State Development organization.

Mr Filler also stated that the craft brewing industry generates 3.5 billion dollars to the NY state economy each year, and combined with the NY state wine industry which brings in approximately 4.8 billion dollars, mean a nice boost for the economy in the region. Combined, the 2 industries are generating about $1 billion just in tourism funds for the State since they are attracting close to 10 million visitors annually.

SheetLabels.com currently works with Springbook Hollow Farms Distillery, who are a part of the Adirondack Craft Beverage Initiative. Springbrook Hollow is located about 15 miles from the SheetLabels.com facility so working together has been convenient for both brands.

SheetLabels.com got involved in the Craft Beverage Initiative as a partner after learning about it from Springbrook Hollow. It was a perfect match for SheetLabels.com to partner up with the local Craft Beverage Initiative since they are also based in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains.

SheetLabels.com offers many different products that are necessary for all of the beverage companies involved. With high quality printed labels made specifically to fit beer bottles, wine bottles, and distilled beverage bottles, it made complete sense to partner up with the Adirondack Craft Beverage Trail organization so we could all work together and make it the best that it can be.

When talking about the partnership, the President and CEO of SheetLabels.com, Adam Gray says, “Supporting the Adirondack Craft Beverage Initiative was an easy decision for several reasons – but the most important is that we were able to directly contribute to our regions craft beverage industry by showing our commitment to the initiative that the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce has taken the lead on for our community.”

Adam also mentioned, “Being a Lake George native, I can say that this beverage industry is the first major new industry to impact our region in such a positive way in quite some time – and anyone that can also show support to our local beverage artisans should do so, whether it be through participating in the beverage tour, or supporting your favorite beverage brands by being a repeat customer of theirs!”
