Brochure: PTFE Whirly Tank Cleaning Nozzle (Series 583)
The Lechler PTFE Whirly is a free-spinning tank cleaning nozzle designed to clean tanks up to 10' in diameter. Its balanced rotating action allows it to operate in any position. The Whirly comes standard in either a threaded fitting or a slip-on connection. A Tri-Clamp version is also available upon request. The material of construction is PTFE, so it is particularly corrosion resistant.
The slip-on model is a sanitary version, as it fulfills the hygienic requirements of the 3A sanitary standards. Its smooth, slick finish keeps fluids from adhering to it, and it connects to the inlet through the use of an R-Clip (made of 316L stainless steel, the only non-PTFE portion of any of this product's models) instead of via threads. The ¾" threaded model can fit through a 2" opening.
