Low Pressure Roller Accumulation

When plant managers and production engineers in the food, beverage, automotive, personal care and consumer goods industries look for innovative accumulation solutions, they choose AMBEC Low Pressure Roller Accumulation systems more than any other. With today's demand for higher speeds, efficient accumulation is critical.

Only AMBEC offers a proven "first-in first-out" system that can increase product control and line efficiencies without sacrificing quality or configuration flexibility. AMBEC realizes that no two systems are alike. But with more experience than any other manufacturer in the field, AMBEC can work with you closely each step of the way to design an accumulation layout that will take you to a new level of throughput efficiency.

AMBEC 10 & 10R

AMBEC 10

uses durable 1/4" diameter stainless steel rods as its surface. When backup occurs, zoned sections of the table shut down eliminating constant line pressure. With its small diameter rods and virtually no gap, AMBEC 10 is ideal for small or unstable containers.

AMBEC 10R uses plastic rollers over 1/4" stainless steel rods. When containers begin to accumulate, the plastic rollers slip around the underlying steel rods to reduce line pressure. If large accumulation occurs, or the table becomes full, AMBEC 10R will shut down zones similar to AMBEC 10.

Operational Advantages

AMBEC systems have been carefully engineered and refined to increase your overall line throughput by quickly compensating for inevitable jams and stoppages.

Each of our custom-designed systems is divided into individually controlled zones. This enhanced control feature lets your system automatically adjust to various line conditions. Speeds are adjusted throughout the table to reduce the cumulative pressure effect during accumulation. The upstream section speeds are controlled based on product population to eliminate flooding of the table discharge. These integrated controls prevent uneven product flow on the table and excessive pressure or bridging at the discharge.

Performance Advantages

AMBEC accumulation systems set the standard for efficiency and durability. Through constant testing and refinement, our new generation of AMBEC 10 and AMBEC 10R offers you the following breakthroughs:

  • Elimination of deadplates.
  • Reduction of line pressure.
  • No pattern and bridging jams.
  • Faster, more efficient changeovers.
  • New tighter line configurations for maximum productivity.
  • More control over throughput, allowing redirection of the product during downstream stoppages.
Optional Equipment

  • Jump Transfers
- Belting that permits stable 90 degree transfers.
  • Pop-Up Stops - Sensor-controlled mechanisms that release products after a certain time, or upon completion of another event.
  • Live Transfers - Free-standing, self-powered bridges between conveyors or packaging equipment. Deadplates may be required on certain applications. A History of Being First.. With Systems That Last
