Alfa Laval to Acquire Scandi Brew

Alfa Laval Separation Inc., a Warminster, PA-based company that focuses on brewery separation, heat transfer and high gravity brewing, has acquired Scandi Brew (Copenhagen, Denmark), a developer of yeast systems. The merger will provide new avenues for investment and product development for Scandi Brew, which is best known for Tank Top Systems, Sampling and Yeast Handling.

Alfa Laval will provide the technological capabilities and finances to increase Scandi Brew's scope of services, which will be extended to encompass yeast technology within complete equipment supply projects. Scandi Brew will become the brand name for all Alfa Laval yeast systems with its global headquarters in Denmark.
