C&H Packaging Introduces New Spout Design for Stand-Up Pouch
C&H Packaging has introduced a new feature on its stand-up pouch. By forming a serpentine shaped spout into the pouch top, the company has created a self-closing valve that keeps liquids inside the pouch until pressure from squeezing forces the contents out.
The resealable pouch, called a Spout Pack, is ideal for products that need to be dispensed in portions - such as coffee creamer, catsup, salad dressing, ice cream toppings, and beverages. It is also handy for dispensing shampoo and lotions. The user just cuts off the corner and the package is ready to use. No zippers or caps are needed to reclose the package. Even if the gusseted pouch is accidentally tipped over, the liquid will not drip out because of the spout's reverse self-sealing trap. Additionally, messy single-use catsup packets, for example, can be replaced with Spout Packs for a superior dispensing method.

The pouch offers an alternative to bulky bottles and expensive rigid packages. High strength laminations of flexible films provide protection during shipping and handling.
With eight-color printing capabilities, Spout Packs have effective shelf-presence. Holes can be pre-punched into the tops for displaying on J-hooks. Being a highly collapsible product, the pouches evacuate contents almost completely. Lightweight but sturdy, the package is constructed to support food and non-food liquids and emulsions.
