Golden, CO – Increasingly North American retailers are requiring Safe Quality Food (SQF) certification to provide assurance that products, processes and services comply with safety standards. Meritech's automated handwashing and bootwashing stations surpass compliance requirements in most food processing applications. With consistent high quality handwashing, CleanTech automated systems eliminate of 99.98% of dangerous pathogens and increase compliance up to 400%.

Jel Sert, which makes freezer bars, desserts and beverages, found that Meritech's automated handwashers assisted them in being recommended for Food Safety Certification. "I would like to thank you and your team for your expedited response with supplying and calibrating the systems in time for our audit … which we just successfully completed! Handwashing was a critical component of the audit, but when the auditors saw your validated systems in place and in use … there was nothing they could say!!!" - Simon Richards, Plant Manager, Jel Sert

Oregon Freeze Dry installed seven CleanTech 500EZ units. "After one year of service we have found them to be very reliable. Our employees enjoy the units and readily adapted to using them. Because we are a food processing facility, effective hand washing is essential. In the past we were reliant on each individual to consistently and correctly clean their hands. With our 500EZ units and CHG soap at every entrance, our hand washing reliability has significantly improved for all employees, visitors and vendors." - Marsha Swanson, Project Specialist Supervisor, Oregon Freeze Dry.

The most common cause of illness is attributed to poor hand hygiene. CleanTech systems ensure thorough handwashing while preventing transmission of infection. CleanTech's automated handwashing provides an invigorating massage for the hands while cleaning thoroughly and consistently, which encourages its use and thereby increases compliance.

Meritech will attend the AMI 2011 conference in Chicago, Illinois, April 13 – 16, booth #3009, and demo several of their CleanTech Automated Handwashing and ProTech Bootwashing systems.
