Egg Cream recruiting distributors

Egg Cream America, Inc. (ECA—Northbrook, IL), manufacturer of Jeff's Soda's "Amazing New York Egg Cream," has concluded fiscal 2000 with the best sales and performance results in the company's four-year operating history. National, regional and independent chain authorizations and plan-o-grams have significantly increased, and this will provide the underpinning for the full-scale rollout of Egg Cream products in the far West, Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions and expansion of base distribution in the Northeast, Midwest and Southwest.

"Distributor packages are now being forwarded to more than 300 select distributors in the company's prioritized regions for growth and expansion" reports president Adam Kurlander. "We believe that the last four years have established that the company's products, which define the Dairy-Based Carbonated Beverage Category (DBCB), have proven sell-through capability on a national basis and, with continuing consumer familiarity, we expect geometric sales growth for the coming year."

Six SKUs are currently marketed - Chocolate, Diet Chocolate, Vanilla, Root Beer Float, Orange Dream and Berry Dream. These products are representative of the more than 25 SKUs, which have been developed by Egg Cream America. All products are packaged in 9.5-oz glass bottles, are 97% fat-free, certified kosher OUD, and 100% shelf-stable without refrigeration.
