Protean 3.1 allows users real-time access to an array of manufacturing data from a host of sources throughout the enterprise. This visibility allows manufacturers an expanded view across plants - from receipt to shipment - and into their customers' plants, enabling them to make more informed business decisions to maximize profitability.

These solutions specifically offer new costing features,as well as enhancements in inventory planning, production, custom order management (COM), and financials and asset management. This release extends the solution's costing capabilities with the delivery of three modules: resource revaluation, product activity costing, and resource costing/modeling. These capabilities, enable the user to control, track and analyze cost with an increased level of detail.

In the COM, area , the solution includes enhancements to existing order fulfillment functions and order automation capabilities (patent pending), including multi-site support for transfer orders and customer returns.
