Inductive Conductivity Line For Harsh Chemical Process

Inductive Conductivity Line For Harsh Chemical Process
The CondI 7100 Inductive Conductivity Transmitter with easy-to-use menu-driven interface is designed for measurement in the range of 1 mS/cm to 2000 mS/cm, or high conductivity measurements.
The CondI 7100 Inductive Conductivity Transmitter with easy-to-use menu-driven interface is designed for measurement in the range of 1 mS/cm to 2000 mS/cm, or high conductivity measurements. Designed for continuous measurement of specific conductivity and salinity of a solution, this highly accurate transmitter is very reasonably priced, providing an economic solution for conductivity measurement in the Food and Beverage, Chemical Process, Pulp and Paper, and Industrial Wastewater industries where high conductivity and harsh chemicals are typical.

The rugged IP65, FM, and CE-rated transmitter is offered in 4-wire and 2-wire versions, and HART communication or Profibus protocol for bi-directional remote process monitoring and control is available. The unit also has three process alarms, one dedicated fault alarm, and dual isolated 4-20 mA outputs, with an additional relay that may also be set to act as an interval timer. In addition, exclusive on-board diagnostic software, Sensocheck, continuously monitors the conductivity sensor, detecting any variation in performance immediately, assuring continuous reliability in measurement. An automatic instrument self-test, Gaincheck, also runs in the background at fixed intervals and checks the memory and transmission of the measured values. In the event of a fault condition, the analyzer will display a graphical diagnostic message.

The transmitter has been developed using the same platform as other popular pH and Dissolved Oxygen transmitters, therefore offering customers the opportunity to minimize training and operation requirements and standardize platforms to improve plant maintenance. Installation has been made simple with plug-in terminal strips and detachable front panel. All transmitter functions are accessible through the front panel keypad, eliminating the need to open the front panel during operation and risking exposure of electronics to corrosive elements. The large, easy-to-use LCD uses graphical symbols and menus to allow quick, intuitive operation, almost no manual required!

The transmitter is compatible with the company's InPro 7200 Series of electrodeless conductivity sensors. Choice of mounting configurations, materials (PEEK or Polypropylene), and temperature options are available. From measuring clean-in-place (CIP) process effectiveness to monitoring acid and basic concentration levels during dilution to determining the compliance of dissolved solid density in waste water, the line of transmitters and sensors has a product to satisfy almost any application requirements.
