Labelling Systems

Today, with the trademarks ALFA and OXE, the Sasib Labelling Division boasts worldwide reputation both in terms of technology and the extent of its complete product range. The main features of ALFA and OXE machines are:

• modular construction of all components and rapid changeover for reconfiguring or modifying the system (changing the kind of label material) or for maintenance;
  
• much less complicated design due to fewer moving parts;
  
• low running costs.

The linear and rotary ALFA and OXE machines can label any kind of container at all speed ranges. The product portfolio offers solutions for all kinds of labelling types:

• Roll-fed:
  ALFA ROLLQUATTRO is the first roll-fed machine capable of labelling PET bottles. Thanks to the roll-fed system, the ALFA ROLLQUATTRO series uses higher quality label materials with greater resistance to contact with fluid or abrasion.
  Extremely versatile machines, they can be integrated into traditional labelling systems, thus increasing the potential for sophisticated dressing.
  The range is from 12 to 36 heads with speeds up to 60,000 bph.

• Cold gluing: the machines in the ALFA TOP BRAIN series are particularly suitable for automatic labelling at high to medium speeds in the beer, mineral water, and soft drinks sectors. They guarantee reliability, high quality, and reduced maintenance. The unique patented TOP BRAIN system features include moving parts mounted on the upper part of the station, thus avoiding leakage of glue and/or water. The range is from 21 to 54 heads with speeds up to 84,000 bph.
  Completing the range are the low-speed OXE QUASAR, OXE GALAXY, and OXE PULSAR with a range from 4 to 16 heads at speeds of up to 12,000, 22,000, and 15,000 bph, respectively.

• Self-adhesive:
  this range includes the OXE PULSAR and the OXE ADHESIVE series.
  The range is from 4 to 16 heads with speeds up to 12,000 bph.

• Hot gluing:
  with ALFA HOT MELT labelling machines gluing takes place only on the edges of the label by means of a thin strip of hot-melting glue at temperatures of around 120-170'C or (248-338'F) guaranteeing perfect adhesion to the container.
  The main features of this series are the completely automatic functioning, easy use, minimal maintenance and low running costs.
  The range is from 6 to 32 heads with speeds up to 72,000 bph.
