Millipore Expands Its NovAseptic Mixer Family
Billerica, MA - Millipore Corporation, a Life Science leader providing technologies, tools and services for bioscience research and biopharmaceutical manufacturing, recently announced the launch of its GMP30000 mixer, an extension of the market-leading NovAseptic magnetically coupled mixer product family.
The new GMP30000 mixer offers effective mixing in large volumes - as high as 30,000 liters. Its aseptic design makes it ideal for use in mixing operations in sterile production of pharmaceuticals as well as high-end food and beverage applications. The large mixer size can also be leveraged for mixing smaller volumes at high viscosity and/or specific gravity. The NovAseptic GMP30000 mixer combines excellent mixing performance at large volumes with the well-known characteristics of magnetically coupled GMP mixers: easy maintenance, low level mixing and maintained integrity of the vessel, eliminating the risk of contamination.
The extended NovAseptic Mixer family, now ranging from 50 to 30000 liter nominal, and the Mobius family of disposable mixing systems further strengthen Millipore's position as a provider of mixing solutions for biopharmaceutical applications.
