Pepsi-Cola Bottling of Olean, N.Y., wins bottler of the year award
Named after PepsiCo's founder, the Donald M. Kendall Bottler of the Year Award represents the highest honor bestowed upon Pepsi bottlers. This year's award presentation took place last night during PepsiCo's Ring of Honor Awards Ceremony in Purchase, N.Y. Donald M. Kendall and Gary Rodkin, president and CEO of PCNA, presented the coveted Donald M. Kendall Bottler of the Year sculpture to Pepsi Olean's Dwaileebe family.
"Pepsi Olean has demonstrated their excellence in all facets of the soft drink business," said Rodkin. "When we looked at their overall performance during 2000 it was clear they deserved the title of a Pepsi Bottler of the Year. On behalf of the entire Pepsi system, I applaud the Dwaileebe family and the employees of Pepsi-Cola Bottling of Olean for their award-winning year."
