Pressure Transmitters

Pressure Transmitters
Pressure transmitters with conventional metal diaphragms are prone to failure and drift in food and beverage applications that require the measurement of gauge and absolute pressure of gases, vapors and liquids under harsh conditions.
Pressure transmitters with conventional metal diaphragms are prone to failure and drift in food and beverage applications that require the measurement of gauge and absolute pressure of gases, vapors and liquids under harsh conditions. Yet, the 99.9% pure ceramic sensor on the Cerabar M Pressure Transmitter offers greatly improved long-term performance and stability.

With a ceramic sensor, no fill fluid is required, resulting in minimal temperature error. The ceramic diaphragm withstands the rigors of CIP and SIP procedures, while resisting scratches, dents, and corrosive chemicals. The sensor meets 3-A sanitary requirements, uses FDA-approved materials of constructions, and has passed the EHEDG clean-ability tests. It has the product specifications that enable it to provide superior performance in food and beverage applications.

It is effective in ranges from 4" H20 to 600psi and had an adjustable measuring range, with a 10:1 turndown. The ceramic sensor also makes it applicable in vacuums. Either 4-20 mA HART or analog electronics may be selected.
