PURITY Gum 2000

Customers have reported that PURITY GUM 2000 starch performs better as an emulsion stabilizer for beverages than other starches do when the emulsions are stored in refrigerators to protect flavor top notes. As a result, flavors taste fresh and remain uniformly distributed throughout the beverage.

Another customer who markets an emulsion containing 10 to 14% alcohol found that the emulsion remains more stable if this specialty starch is used. Yet another customer prefers PURITY GUM 2000 starch because it can be added at a 33% lower usage level. In addition, another savings results from reduced homogenization pressures and this leads to lower energy costs. These benefits occur because this specialty starch lowers the water's surface tension significantly more than gum arabic at the same usage level.

A fourth customer selects this advanced starch because its price, availability and quality do not fluctuate dramatically as may be the case with gum arabic.
