Skinny Nutritional Adds Boost To Skinny Water's Newest Flavor Tropical Punch

Philadelphia, PA - Dieters will get a big kick out of Skinny Water's newest flavor, tropical punch, introduced today. That's because Skinny Nutritional Corp. has added all-natural guarana to the flavored fitness water's active ingredients. An antioxidant native to the Amazon basin, guarana packs three times more caffeine than coffee, and is known to improve cognition and fat cell reduction.

"The energy drink category is growing quickly in the beverage industry, and we are excited to now be a part of this marketplace," says Don McDonald, President and CEO of Skinny Nutritional Corp. "By adding our new ingredient guarana to our formula, our new tropical punch flavor goes beyond hydration to deliver an all-natural energy boost, appetite suppressant, and weight loss aid in one delicious drink. With Skinny Water tropical punch, we've harnessed the power of guarana for dieters everywhere."

According to Mintel, a market research firm, the energy drink market reached more than $3.2 billion in 2006 with a sales forecast to increase at an annual rate of 10.2 percent through 2011. Now, Skinny Water's newest flavor, tropical punch, can reach the 7.6 million Americans who are consuming energy drinks today.

Tropical punch is the fourth flavor in the Skinny Water lineup, which also includes raspberry, lemon, and peach. All Skinny Water varieties include Super CitriMax® and ChromeMate®, active ingredients scientifically proven to curb hunger, maintain healthy blood sugar levels and normal metabolism, and promote fat loss and lean body mass.

Each 16.9 oz. bottle of Skinny Water provides 15 percent of the U.S. Recommended Daily Intake of calcium, and 9 percent of the U.S. Recommended Daily Intake of potassium. Skinny Water also has no calories, no carbs and no sugar. Dieters who drink three Skinny Water bottles daily, 30 to 60 minutes before each meal, will feel fuller and eat less as a result. All Skinny Water flavors are now available in six-packs for $5.99 each or $1.49 per 16.9 oz bottle.

A study by researchers at Georgetown University Medical Center found Skinny Water helped dieters lose an average of 10 pounds each—three times the weight lost with diet and exercise alone.

Skinny Water is available at Target stores in the U.S. For more information about Skinny Nutritional Corp. or Skinny Water, or for Skinny Water samples, visit www.SkinnyWater.com, or contact Jackie Zima at 610-642-8253, ext. 138, 215-534-2973 (mobile), or Jackie@GregoryFCA.com.
