T.H.E.M. Announces Partnership With Zip-Pak To Support Global Commercialization Of Zipbox Packaging

Technical Help in Engineering and Marketing (T.H.E.M.) is pleased to announce its selection of Zip-Pak, a global leader in resealable packaging technology, as a joint partner to support zipper and machinery systems commercialization of Zipbox on a global basis.

A division of Illinois Tool Works (ITW), a diversified manufacturer of highly engineered components and industrial systems, Zip-Pak has been producing resealable packaging since the 1950s. Production facilities and sales offices located throughout North and South America, Europe and Asia support global customers in more than 52 countries.

T.H.E.M. developed Zipbox, a revolutionary packaging innovation that combines the best features of traditional paperboard cartons with the convenience and functionality of zippered pouch packaging. Zipbox is well suited and highly adaptable to a variety of consumer products, including cereals, snacks, cookies, frozen foods, pet foods, and powdered laundry detergents. T.H.E.M. is best known for transferring and introducing Sanko stick packaging (single-serving stick packs) technology to North America in the 1990s.
