Tropicana North America Receives ISO 9001 Certification for Florida Facility

Tropicana North America, the leading juice company in the United States and Canada, has received ISO 9001 certification for its facility located in Bradenton, FL.

Tropicana adopted ISO 9000 as a means of ensuring quality and maintaining consumer and customer confidence. The series of standards, called ISO 9000, were developed in 1987 by the International Organization for Standardization in Geneva, Switzerland, to establish basic uniform requirements for quality systems.

"Attaining ISO 9001 certification will further improve consistency in Tropicana's processes and systems," said Bill Rottman, vice president/director of quality assurance for Tropicana North America. "Tropicana believes that achieving 9001 status is especially important because of the additional component which evaluates product design control. It adds credibility to our standards of consistently producing the best-quality products for consumers and customers."
