Ultraviolet irradiation or "UV light" as it is commonly called, is a proven technology that is used to solve microbiological problems in water
Tightened biological control standards for product manufacturers, and increased health concerns by the public have caused a move away from the traditional chemical disinfection methods. UV disinfection technology has emerged as the environmentally friendly choice for the future.

Ultraviolet irradiation or "UV light" as it is commonly called, is a proven technology that is used to solve microbiological problems in water. The technology is applicable to all water streams, as long as light can penetrate the water to be treated. Virtually all water treatment applications are candidates for the addition of ultraviolet light as a means of disinfection and microbial control.

BENEFITS:

  • UV does not change the color, odor, pH or flavor of the stream being treated.
  • Environmentally friendly, no chemical storage and handling.
  • In line process, immediate action, no need for holding tanks.
  • No chemicals are added.
  • Compatible with R.O. membranes and ion exchange resins.
  • Very low operating cost.
