Watson-Marlow Launches Its Model 114 Flip-Top

Watson Marlow, the leading manufacturer of peristaltic pumps, launches its model 114 Flip-top pumphead for beverage dispensing equipment.The 114 pump packs the features that surgical device manufacturers want into a small package with attractive up-to-date styling. The pump is designed for use in concentrates, flavor, syrup or dairy dosing applications.

The flip top pump features an automatic tube stretch feature for error free tube loading and consistent fluid flow. It is a robust design that ensures reliable performance without any operator adjustments. This safe, fully enclosed pump's spring-loaded operation leads to long tube life and steady pressure. The 114 has four rollers, reducing pulsation, and delivers up to 300ml/min of continuous flow. The 114 also features a universal drive connection for drive shafts from ø6 to ø10mm.

The 114 is available in models for use with thinner wall tubes, as well as high-pressure models. Other available options include: track open/close indicator switch, rotation sensor, custom colors, and a private label version. Geared motor drives are available in DC and brushless DC versions.

The 114 pump adds to an already extensive range of OEM instrument-quality pumps that produce flow rates from 0.1 microliters to 4 LPM, and pressures of up to 100psi. There are no internal universal joints, valves, dead corners, or glands to impede flow and are reversible for back flushing lines. They can also run dry indefinitely without damage and provide vacuum up to 860mm Hg. Every Watson-Marlow peristaltic pump is an inherent metering pump with repeatability to 99.5%.
