National Poultry Waste Management Symposium will be held this year in Ocean City, Maryland.
The mission of the symposium continues to provide cutting edge, timely, and hard hitting presentations that address the need for comprehensive programs and that assist members in the poultry production system to fulfill their individual and collective environmental protection responsibilities. Key attendees will be from USDA-CSREES / PAS, American Farm Bureau Federation, US EPA, University of Maryland, University of Delaware, Perdue, California Poultry Federation, Tyson Foods, Foster Farms, Foundation of Organic Resources Management, and the United Egg producers. EQWEST, the All-Horse Forum & Exposition, is a regional equine exposition covering the Western States. Key Attendees include, National Horse Associations, Large feed distributors, California Thoroughbred Association, Equestrian Enterprise, and other instrumental people in the Equine Industry.

National Finals Rodeo hosted in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The National Finals Rodeo, sponsored by The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), is one of the most publicized and well-known rodeos in the country. The NFR draws approximately 1 to 1.5 million people every year from the United States and Canada, including farmers, ranchers, cowboys as well as corporate personnel from major businesses such as Wrangler Jeans and Justin Boots. In addition to the rodeo itself, which is nationally televised on ESPN, the PRCA hosts several events. Biospherics and the Cowboys for Miracles will have a booth promoting both FlyCracker and the CFM organization. Celebrity rodeo stars will provide autographs at the booth for PR.

Every segment of the poultry and egg industry is represented: feed milling, live production, hatchery, processing, further processing, packaging, marketing, and all support activities. Key Attendees include US Poultry and Egg association, State Poultry Associations, USDA, Foster Farms, Perdue and Tyson Foods. 24,000 people attended the 2000 function. National Cattlemen's Beef Association is a consumer-driven, producer-directed organization representing all segments of the beef industry. As family farmers and ranchers, beef producers have a vested interest in protecting the environment. As responsive producers, they share an interest in meeting the needs of consumers worldwide by providing high-quality, nutritious beef, while setting higher quality and safety standards than those required by the government. Key Attendees include NCBA, Cargill, USDA, ConAgra, IBP, National Livestock Producers Association, Southern States Cooperative, Purina Mills, Universal Cooperatives, and Walco International.
